Successful Transitions Online and Mentoring Program

This program is designed to help students with learning exceptionalities (like a learning disability or ADHD), or mental health challenge transition from high school to college or university. Participants will learn about preparing for college or university, advocacy and self-care. The program is designed to help students successfully transition to college or university. The program consists of an online course running from February – April 2018 and a mentorship component beginning in September of 2018. Participation is free to eligible students!

To be eligible you must:

  • Be in your final year of high school
  • Have a learning exceptionality or self-identify with a mental health challenge
  • Plan to attend college or university in September 2018
  • Be able to attend two Opening Days in February at Laurentian University
  • Be able to attend a Closing Day in April at Laurentian University
  • Have daily access to a computer and the internet
