New Article Published Investigating the Accommodation of Extra Time

A new research study from NOARC was just published in the peer-reviewed journal Psychological Injury and Law.  In the article titled, Extra Time or Unused Time? What Data from a College Testing Center Tells Us About 50% Extra Time as an Accommodation for Students with Learning Disabilities, Drs. Alana Holmes and Robert Silvestri, reviewed the current practices around extra time accommodations for tests and exams, and analysed its actual usage using two years of archival data from an Ontario community college.  The implications of the results and their impact on the assignment of extra time accommodations for postsecondary students with disabilities are discussed in the article.
